Question about CI642 Crash at HKG in 1999

Tue Jan 11, 2005 1:06 pm

Whatever happened to the appeal of the findings of the CI642 MD11 crash at HKG in 99? The pilot had been blamed but CI had appealed, IIRC, a year ago and a special hearing was to be held. They felt windshear was a factor as Boeing and the NTSB were unable to replicate the crash.

There's a good report - interesting that there was a similiar Fed Ex DC-10 accident.
