Fedex Colour Scheme - Different Shades Of Blue?

Wed Jan 12, 2005 2:10 am

It may be my bad eyes, but it seems to me that the tail of some FX planes is of a darker blue than on others, which looks more pinkish.

Can someone tell me whether there really is this difference (maybe there's been a slight change of C/S), or whether it's just an illusion?

Thanks

Are you sure it might just be the fading of the paint??? Becuase the color should be purple instead of blue.

Chris, indeed, it may merely be the light on some of the photos, that's why I am confused.

So you are saying all the FX tails are purple, and they're all the same?

I like their color better than our yellow. But our planes do stick out. We joke about the DHL plane being shot in Irag just because it was soo ugly.

I think DHL's color scheme rocks. It's bold and instantly recognizable. I'm so tired of just seeing a white plane and having to squint to see the logo in order to see what airline it is. Kudos to DHL for a cool C/S.

I was very sad when I noticed the Astar cargo planes staring to replace the DHL planes at EWR. I always looked forward to seeing the bright birds sitting on the ramp, but now all I have to look at is another boring white plane.

Just call me Lance! Maybe DHL should sponsor the yellow jersey?
