When I went to the job fair they had, yes a job fair (I was surprised as well) They said they hoped to increase operations in FLL so you could assume DCA would fit into that plan.

I'm the expert on here on two things, neither of which I care about much anymore.

The RDU-DCA-RDU flights have changed since initial release of the new schedule..

The former was DCA-RDU becomes mainline, with 1x 733 + 1x 734 + 1x E70 + 2x ERJ + 1x CRJ

The new is DCA-RDU becomes 2 E170, 3 ERJ with a lost of 1 frequency.. while RDU-DCA becomes 1 734, 2 E170, 3 RJ..

There will be, most notably, new nonstops to DFW, IAH, DTW and ATL among others, almost all with E170 and a few with mainline aircraft. It's a great idea, even if there is already plenty of capacity on those routes. Passengers will be able to access some of the major business centers nonstop on US Airways as oppposed to other airlines. We'll have to see how things go, though, especially DCA-DFW and DCA-ATL, as those routes are already heavily served by AA and DL respectively.

I know they're starting like 5 trips a day CLE-DCA, if they survive, that is, with a combo of the ERJ-145 and the -170.
