RNP Approach Approved For Palm Springs

Wed Jan 12, 2005 6:41 am

The FAA has approved RNP approaches for Palm Spring. The charts have been mailed out and Alaska has been approved to use it. This will now lower the DH from 2,300'(msl) on the VOR approach to 684'(msl) or 254' (agl). This will be a welcome relief for passengers that have been stranded at PSP or flown to ONT in the past few weeks.

Maybe this is a little to late for the last few weeks, but though some of you may be interested in this.
