Delta 777

So how many 777s does Delta have now? How many more are they going to get. Also, where is a place that I can keep up with all this?

Delta currently has 7 Boeing 777-200IGWs in their fleet, powered by Rolls Royce Trent 800s. The airline has seven more on order to be delivered by May 2001 I believe.

They also have options on another 46 777-200s. Presumably maybe some may be ordered as 777-200Xs, but this is just my own speculation.

And here is a pretty good place to keep up with things like this!

The deliveries for the seven already delivered are as follows;

Ship # Registration In Service Date

7001 N860DA May 1st 1999
7002 N861DA May 26th 1999
7006 N865DA December 12th 1999
7007 N866DA December 16th 1999
7003 N862DA January 19th 2000
7005 N864DA January 27th 2000
7004 N863DA February 8th 2000

Hope this helps!

Boeing actually showed the last five to have been delivered by the end of December 1999, even though they may still have been at Paine Field for outfitting. Also check my website in my userprofile. The777Man
