Midwest Airlines Adds Seasonal Milwaukee-Orlando Service
Wednesday January 12, 12:00 pm ET

MILWAUKEE, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Midwest Airlines today announced that, in response to customer demand, it is adding service on its Milwaukee-Orlando route during the peak travel season. The airline will add one daily nonstop roundtrip between March 3 and April 30, 2005. This will bring the number of flights to and from the popular Florida destination to eight daily, with seven flights on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The added service will depart Milwaukee at 9:50 a.m. and arrive in Orlando at 1:25 p.m., with the return flight departing Orlando at 2:00 p.m. and arriving in Milwaukee at 3:45 p.m.

"Orlando is always a popular destination, and especially when Midwesterners are seeking a winter get-away," said Scott R. Dickson, senior vice president and chief marketing officer. "We're happy to make it even easier for our loyal customers to enjoy some fun in the sun."

I don't see 7 daily MKE-MCO service. We are lucky to get 2 flights a day, especially for commuting purposes.

I noticed that as well...perhaps they meant 8 daily flights to all Florida destinations in total.

That's a ton of saturation in the MKE-MCO market, when you factor in NW's and FL's nonstops.

Incidentally, NW also does RSW n/s, and FL competes against YX in the TPA n/s market.

Also out of MKE USA3000 serves TPA and RSW.

They mean 8 daily flights to Florida, not Orlando.

Also, USA 3000 does not fly MKE-TPA, at least not scheduled. They don't offer any scheduled services into TPA, only PIE.
