Monarch Airlines DC-10

Fri Mar 24, 2000 4:08 am

I have a question about the Monarch Dc10.

I know that they have already sold it but are still using it because it is waiting for a freighter conversion slot.

The aircraft is G-DMCA, and i would like any info on the plane, especially where Monarch bought it from.

G-DMCA, c/n 48266/348
Engines: 3x GE CF6-50C2
MTOW: 259455kg
Config.: Y361
Callsign: JK-GH
leased from Sky Leasing Inc.

Here are some facts about the history of this a/c:
Date of delivery: July 30, 1984
Previously registered as N3016Z of Zambia Airways
Was withdrawn from use in December 1994 after the airline went bancrupt and put into service by Monarch in March of 1996.

Hope this helps!
