Aeromedical Crash

Fri Jan 14, 2005 6:23 am

Sorry if this has already started in the forum and it's a day late

On Tuesday night at about 2100 a fixed wing operated by Mountain Flight Service in Steamboat Springs Colorado with a medical crew from Yampa Valley Medical Center crashed about a mile to a mile and a half north of the Rawlins WY airport.

There where 3 medical crew members and 1 pilot on board the King Air E90. 2 medical crew and pilot were killed in the crash. The one survivor was the flight paramedic.

I hate to report on these things but sometimes if it's shared hopefully it won't happen again....

As always fly safe and may you always return home at the end of the day
