Odd Aircraft In Las Vegas Yesterday

Sat Jan 15, 2005 6:56 am

I was departing Las Vegas yesterday, and while taxing out I noticed a 727-200 sitting on the ramp near the Charter International Terminal. It looked like an old CO paint job on the fuselage. But the tail is what struck me. It was black, and it had "Leaving on a jet plane", on the tail. I couldnt get the tail number, but I am pretty sure it was Canadian-- All letters. Anyone have any info on this bird?

I beleive it was a Kelowna Flightcraft bird flying on behalf of Skyserice routing YVR-LAS-YVR

There was a thread here somewhere about it a few days ago

The A/C you saw was Kelowna Flightcraft's 727-200 C-FLHR, ex-N885AA, it was just put into pax service with KF on thursday after being parked in Kelowna for a couple years.

Is it strictly charter? Anything special about this airline/aircraft?
