I'll take a stab in the dark and say right now there is only one pax booked on each of those flights on that date, and that's you.  Big grin

AC 1183: 00J/22Y, total 22 seats open
QK 7861: 33Y, total 33 seats open

YHZ-YUL load factors used to be low on AC's list, and I don't think this has changed. AC now flies 4 A-319's to YUL daily (they used to fly BA-146 Jazz). So it seems their capacity might be the same as before.

Not sure about the other flights.

Sure, you can ask, and I'll try to find out, but I can't promise.
But, give it a try anyways.

Why do you need to know this? You'll find out after you board anyway. Are you going to cancel your trip if there are too many/too few other passengers?  Smile

Given the nature of the world today, I would think very hard before posting that sort of information on a public forum.

I know, but loads on specific flights are a bit sensitive for pretty obvious reasons, IMHO. I think everyone with access to that information should think long and hard before giving it out. Yes, I know there are other ways for bad guys to get it, and ultimately if they want to do something, they will, and you may think it doesn't matter, but you never know. Personally I'd feel a lot better knowing that the general public did not have any data about a flight I was on.

That sounds like extreme paranoia to me. That information is readily available to the public. All you have to do is make a seat selection on the airline's web site. That usually brings up a seat map showing what seats are still available.

The other issue is that it is against company policy to publicly release proprietary information like actual loads on flights. If you want to help, be less specific. (1/2 full, lot's of seats left, jammed full)

If you want to know AC's load factors all you have to do is ask the Westjet executives!!  Big grin

PS I still don't get it, are you really asking about load factors a year from now or are we in some theoretical time warp?

I could call right now and get the load, it is very much available to people like stand by's etc. Don't be so paranoid.

That may be true, but the employee giving you that information is risking loosing their job and or flight benefits for disclosing that information to you. It's not being paranoid, it's releasing information that is not publically available. It's one thing to pass along the info to a friend or colleague, but to publically post it is another and in violation of the rules posted on the employee website.

Hi There,
I just wanted to know and the reason is, when I was flying last time this route one of my flights was overbooked and they gave me 300 dollar voucher and a flight in the first class, if I can catch the next flight.

I used that voucher to buy this ticket, so want to see how many spaces available so maybe I can hope for overbooking again.

That's the only reason, i wanted to know this info.

Thanks

Olympus69:

Well AC does not offer the seat selection for Tango fares on its website for free, they charge $15.00 per seat and flight segment, and I ain't gonna spend another 45 dollars to choose my seats.

this information is very publically available. there are several websites showing seat availability by booking class.

Care to post those websites. I have heard this argument before, recently from exec's at WJ. The info from those websites is not 100% accurate.
