NW Starting MIA-IND

Mon Jan 17, 2005 5:17 am

Looks like Northwest is going to start non-stop Miami-Indianapolis service...

NW 1742 IND 0830-1105 MIA
NW 1741 MIA 1215-1503 IND

Service operates with a DC-9 on Saturdays, 19Feb05 through 02Apr05.

This compliments Northwest's daily, year-round FLL-IND service and seasonal (same time period) Saturday service on IND-PBI. Both ATA and American also fly non-stop from Indianapolis to the Miami area, from FLL and MIA, respectively.

Saturday service on FLL-PBI.
You mean IND-PBI!

Glad this isn't daily...AA would kill them!

AA is positioned for the cruise ships..into MIA in the AM and out in the afternoon or early evening.
NW will do ok. They are rarely run off a route...once in a while but not often.

No, AA would not kill them. AA likely wouldn't respond. This isn't a key market.

A slew of these seats will be spoken for by the cruise lines, it will be an easy sell for NW, trust me.
