Rabbits Eat Cars Parked At DIA

Wed Jan 19, 2005 10:49 am

I guess it's not safe to park your car at DIA any longer.

DENVER - Eric Underwood parked his Audi in the economy lot at Denver International Airport, and when he came back from his honeymoon, there was a warning light on his dash board.

"When I first called the Audi people, they said, 'have you been out at DIA?'" Underwood said.

Rabbits or rodents had chewed through his oil sensor wires.

Maybe Audi should stop making sensor wires out of rabbit food!

Looks to me that Jackalopes did it, not rabbits. Rabbits are too cute.

Maybe it was the massive prison under DIA that will house the New World Order.

Them wascally wabbits! And I saw that bunny in the thread of this thread starter. It was a plumper! Talk about Mr. Murphy and his law. Hopefully for the honeymooning dude, his marriage will fare better than his rabbit eaten Audi. Hey, I got an idea for another cheap trashy TV show: When cute critters go bad! And I thought you only had to worry about Bambi and birds getting Hoovered into jet engines.

In Germany they have this animal called a "marder" or something like that. It has been known to chew up automobile wiring and even get inside the interior of your car and chew the wiring and seats up. They usually hang out around the edges of the forest. Maybe someone in Germany/Austria/Switzerland could tell us more about them.
