If any US airline ever orders pax A380, it will probably be NW
, but not for a long time if they ever do, I suppose UA
could be possible, then maybe not, quite apart from their financial state, they may just stick to newer 777's for any partial replacement for 747s.
Then again, if Boeing does build a 747Adv, these two good be good prospects.
I doubt Airbus is expecting many, if any, pax A380's from the US, 20 years ago half of 747 production was going to Pacific rim airlines, that trend has yet to stop, now you can add in the exploding Mid East market.
Two places A380 is doing well in, even at this early stage.
