Weather Delays... Who Pays?

Mon Jan 24, 2005 2:39 am

Here's a (stupid) question I have. If it has been discussed previously, sorrey!

When an airport gets affected by severe weather such as a major snowstorm, and it leads to complete suspension of all flights, are the airlines whose aircraft get stuck at this facility still charged parking fees for the duration of the shutdown?

Probably not. The ones that are "stuck" there essentially take the place of the ones that would have normally terminated and spent the night there (since those flights would have been cancelled).
