Yeah, indeed that was the price. We've gone from 1 x 744 to 1 x 744 and 1 x 343 to 1 x 744 and 1 x 333.
And then gone to 2 x 333, now 3 x 333 (with an occasional 34C).

is one of CX
's most important markets and they send capacity down here in response to demand (particularly in the Southern Hemisphere summer).
had no choice because I don't think they have many spare 744's and QF
's increase in capacity with their QF29/30 has made CX
's 3rd daily flight to SYD
pretty much a necessity. Add VS
's entry into the market and CX
's presence in the market is perceived to be diminishing a little, hence the entry of the 3rd daily flight.
