EA Oasis Corp

Tue Jan 25, 2005 12:26 pm

Back in the middle to late 90's, there was
a company in Miami called Oasis Corp that
was carved out of the estate of Eastern
to utilize SystemOne and take calls for
some airlines that wished to outsource
some of their Res calls. they had Airtran,
Frontier, some south american airlines, etc.
they seemed to have closed, anyone know?

I remember them because the local paper made a big deal out of their formation at the time. They employed disadvantaged folks and got a county grant and/or loan to help their startup as I recall. I also seem to remember that Pan Am II used them for their reservations.

I haven't seen their name in a long time and I think they disappeared quite a while ago. Google searches have been unsuccessful.

They still exist (in lesser form; just attorneys). They hold the service mark/logo rights to EAL.
