Question About KE's A330 Flight.

Fri Jan 28, 2005 10:45 pm

I was browsing a few videos on Flightlevel350.com and noticed a KE A330-323X landing in PRG from ICN.

This seems a rather long flight for a -300 series even a for a -323X.

So how can KE manage such a long flight ? They used a -200 series mostly to ZRH and PRG but never a -300. How can this be ??

How can they manage it?

Its a fairly long haul, but well within the aircraft's range.

KE flies to PRG 2/w now, one of them(Monday) is A330-200, the other one(Saturday) is A330-300.

Then I guess it must be the longest A333 leg on earth. (5131mi in direct routing without avoiding N.Korea !!).

NW is flying the same machine (A330-323X) and has decided to fly the A330-200 for its AMS-SEA service (4886mi).

Strange...
