Well done Airbus, another five orders closer to the 1000 I predict they will end up selling. Also good news for Boeing with the 60 x 7E7's, well done all.

I'm sorry, but what do Chinese politics have to do with the A380? Hell what do politics have to do with the plane, this isn't Concorde, this is business.
The meaning of life is curiosity; we were put on this planet to explore opportunities.

If an order for 5 A380's is a political victory, then I'd hate to see what the 60 787's is...

Given the vast population of China, I suspect that they will need these planes just for domestic services, like the B747SR in Japan.

To answere Lehpron question -
When it comes to China - Politics have everything to do with it...
Who do you think order the A388, A332 and B787?

Solnabo just can't seem to resist making gratuitous negative comments. Perhaps if he controlled his urge to flame-bait, his substantive comments would be taken more seriously?

This Chinese order is certainly just a beginning of huge wide body sales in the 10 years to come.
Surely the same names that bought these 787s today will do the same for the A350 in the years to come.Airbus is hardly working for that.
