Quite a few rumors going round that MNG were taking it for cargo, then another that its off to the desert. Its also been in and out of FLS recently. I hope it finds a new home as its still got life in it.

The DC-10-10s are away to Swaziland as freighters. The DC-10-30, afaik, is still at MAN, it's had a few minor problems recently. New customer unknown

Three of the ex MyTravel DC-10's that were in storage at kemble are now registered in Swaziland.

They are now owned by Johannesburg based Global Aviation and will be used on Hadj flights before returning to the lease and charter market.

DC-10 c/n 46646 3D-MRR has oriental airways titles.

Oriental Airways is a fictional airline, it was used on the Ultimate Force program a few weeks ago.

Poor old bird, I agree she does have life left in her. She definitely had some umf in her last August. She gave an interesting ride!

Here's to hoping she doesn't end up like G-DMCA!

it's had a few minor problems recently.

She had a major fuel tank leak a couple of weeks ago apparently.

I agree with you on that one Alex, I had one of my best flights onboard BYDA a couple of years ago  Big thumbs up

I never got to try the '30' of MYT, had to make do with the '10s' but I'm not complaining. Brilliant aircraft, smooth, fast, retro!

I heard it [G-BYDA] had a fuel leak, certainly isnt good if another operator wants to take it on. I hope it doesnt get any more problems, touch-wood it wont.
