Air Canada 2x At MEX Today?

Sat Jan 29, 2005 8:36 am

Hi, I was at MEX this afternoon at about 12:00pm and noticed 2 AirCanada 767's were on the terminal instead of the normal one.

Any body know why?

Thanks

I also saw the two Air Canada's B767s at MEX yesterday.

Can anyone from up north enlighten this post?

If I'm not mistaken, they're still at MEX. I just drove by the airport and think I saw them, one at the passenger terminal and the other one across the runways. Can anyone confirm if what I saw were the two AC aircraft, or I'm wrong?

There was a 767 that had a maintainance problem the other day resulting in the flight being cancelled. I think the #2 engine would'nt start on pushback.
I guess it's a possibility that this a/c could still be in MEX waiting for parts, etc.
The second 767 is probably the regular sked flight.

Hmm yes yes, I was at the airport on Friday and noticed the AC 767 being towed to the maintenance area at around 4pm, interesting to see it's still down.

Any of the AC airplanes that have been visiting MEX are already in the new livery?

Saw and snap it two days in a row in the first week of January. I recently saw another one a week ago! 2 of the 3 B763s so far painted in AC new livery have visited MEX.

Thanks a lot for the pic Ghost. I guess I was lazy and would have found out earlier if I had ran a search. I like the livery even though it has been kind of controversial.
