A Good Paper: From The A3XX To The A380

Sat Jan 29, 2005 10:18 am

There is a good article from www.techno-science.net about the A380. It is relating the different steps of its building from the ground project to the official presentation.

It is written in French but there are many pictures [I've never seen before] of early projects, plants, assembly line and the official presentation.

Thank God it didn;t end up looking like the top picture. It would be even more ugly otherwise!!!  Big thumbs up Big thumbs up Big thumbs up

Has anyone got a copy of any of the A3XX Briefing documents that Airbus had on their website back in about 1998?

I saved one of them on my old desktop back then but just recently it's hard drive died before I could back it up and transfer it to my current laptop or burn it to CD. From memory it was about a 5.5 Mb pdf.

Also a bit later there was a technical paper on the use of lower deck space. If anyone has that as well that would be great as I lost that as well.
