Haven't heard much on this since the initial announcement in October. I went to the Primaris Airlines website to find out more and it's little changed since October but does say a new redesigned site will appear shortly. The current site really doesn't give too much detail on their planned operations but it does have a route map and some planned routes, appropriate approvals permitting. Their initial announcement stated they planned to introduce the 738s in 2006 and we're not really too far away from that. So, a question or two if I may.
Have there been any updates to their plans that I've missed? Will they introduce the 738s to build a domestic presence in the US from 2006 until the 787 is available to start International routes or use the 738s International too?
The Boeing press release at the time said they hoped to finalise the order by the end of 2004 and even though this didn't happen they must be getting close as Primaris will need to secure delivey for 2006 on the 738s. The initial order was for 20 + 25 738s and 20 + 15 787s.
Any update or further information would be appreciated as that is quite a large order and their plans involve taking quite a risk.
