First Choice is now advertising for their long haul services:
- More legroom when compared with BA or VS in economy
- Wide screen IFE at every seat
- Free in-flight meals with choice of entree
And now in-flight beauty therapists!
Seems some UK charter flights are beginning to catch up/overtake the legacy carriers for people who fly economy! However, this is not new as older members might remember Wardair, originally a Canadian charter airline with increased seat pitch, fine meals (often Chateaubriand) served on real Wedgwood China with real linen, and as many free drinks as you wished. True there was no IFE, but with such excellent service, meals that would shame many restaurants, and friendly cabin crew, who needed a movie or some PC
games or even a beauty therapist to make the flight enjoyable?
