Canadian DC-10 F/E's

does anyone know if the Canadian DC-10 flight engineers were given any internal options to stay with canadian such as pilot training.

Considering at their peak, there were about 12 DC-10's in service and now there are only 3.... Where did all the F/E's go?

Um, I am not sure what you are talking about...
but, the DC-10s are slowly being replaced with 767's.
737 fo's move to the right seat in the 767 (constant retirements) and then DC-10 so's (flight engineers) move into the right seat of the 737-200.

It is all relative, nobody is losing there jobs, if that it what you are getting at. The pilots are guaranteed a certain amount of hours per month anyways. So even is there was no flying, due to a lack of aircraft, they still get paid.

I hope that helps

Your Welcome seat 1a
after reviewing my post, I realized that I forgot about the A-320.
The A-320 fo position is after the 737 fo position. Not the 767.

Sorry about that
