"Better yet, bring some widebodys into MCO." - Quickmover
Thought almost every major (& minor) brings heavies into MCO
already? They did when I lived there! Even A Northwest 747-234B, even a Continental 777-224, regularly scheduled, not to mention the Twice, three and sometimes four times daily Virgin 744s. Can't get much bigger than that- until Virgin starts sending their A380s on the MCO
route, which is iffy at best. In an airport that serves More Passengers than any other Airport in Florida (31,143,388 in 2004)
it would seem very hard to believe that there aren't widebodies in daily use already.
Here's the current flight schedules for MCO
Great to hear DAB
's traffic is getting a boost again, even if its for a few days. Anybody remember the LTU L1011s that used to come in during the spring & summer? Weird how theres no entries in either DB
, yet I have an article of when they pulled out of DAB
from the Orlando Sentinel showing an L-1011, somewhere.
Let's see those pictures! lol
