AR Still Flying To CDG, MUC & ZRH?

Wed Feb 09, 2005 12:57 pm

Greetings!

Over the past couple of days I've noticed something strange on AR's destinations list on their website (http://www.aerolineas.com.ar): CDG, MUC and ZRH have all "vanished", although LGW remains and the site appears to have been updated fairly recently as MEX is on the list.  Confused

Is this just a glitch, or are Air Plus Comet (A7) no longer connecting CDG, MUC and ZRH with MAD on AR's behalf?

Saludos,

ZXV

No idea ZXV. All I can say is that the updates to the site must have occurred just days ago because a couple of weeks ago MEX was not loaded in the system.

Cheers!
Next flights: MEX-LAX AM 738, LAX-PVG DL 77L, SHA-PEK CA 789, PEK-PVG CA A332, PVG-ORD MU 77W, ORD-MEX AM 738

It must be an error in the webpage. AR is flying regularly to CDG/LGW/MUC/ZRH via MAD, thru Air Plus Comet under a codeshare agreement.

Hola ZXV, en Suiza? vos si que la pasas mal ...  Big thumbs up

I've just checked the AR website and all destinations are there, including MEX, so it must have been a simple mistake.

saludos!

Why doesn't AR have the c/s with A7 on flights from MAD to MXP and FCO as they have to LGW/CDG/MUC/ZRH?

Bye

Hola EZEIZA!

Si, unos amigos me invitaron a esquiar en Suiza con ellos; como no podria aceptar?!  Big thumbs up Ademas, no conocia a las pistas suizas.
Pero ahora estoy de nuevo en Londres...  Crying

Lxsaab2000:

AR had a c/s agreement with A7 between MAD and MXP last year, but I think the service was terminated (by A7). As for FCO, the reason is very simple: AR flies direct to FCO 3 or 4 x weekly, using the A342s and B744s. Remember Argentina's demographic make-up (55% of full/part Italian origins, of whom a few can always afford the trip)...

Really enjoyed flying with Swiss; can't imagine that they used to be "even better"!

Saludos,

ZXV

Thanks LVZXV  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
I know AR flies directly to Rome from Buenos Aires (I remember 3xw with 342 + 1xw with 744) , but I was quite surprised to see only Milan/MAD and Rome/MAD (by A7) without c/s with AR while all the other A7's european flights are operated with AR's c/s.
By the way A7 is still operating from MAD to FCO and MXP and it's going to increase frequencies to Rome from 1st March (3xw to MAD with 733).

I also know that AR continues to go very well with its direct FCO-EZE , so I'll not be surprised to see one day this route increased in capacity or in weekly frequencies.
