My Sydney Trip!

Wed Mar 29, 2000 5:23 am

This summer I going to Sydney from Stockholm, I am flying with Singapore Airlines.
This is the trip:

ARN-CPH --> Sas md-80
CPH-SIN --> SIA Airbus A340-300
SIN-SYD --> SIA Boeing 747-400

and the same the way back...

Have anyone flown these planes and airlines?
It would be interesting to here what you guys have to say!

I flew with SAS on an MD80 - on a few occasions and I can recommend them thoroughly.

SIA are okay too (although I haven't flown with them).

the 744 is a great plane,but the seating is 3-4-3 with 17 in of seat width.The 343 has 2-4-2 and 18 in seating but it is rather UNDERPOWERED!

Bon Voyage,

I have only flown SIA 744 in J class but if SQ is like other 744s I have flown on, be prepared to learn the true meaning of cattle class in 744 economy.

You lucky person; that route sounds cool. This is just to say that I have flown SQ before, but not on the planes you're flying. I've flown their 777 from Colombo to Singapore and back, and their A310 from Singapore to Denpasar and back. Both flights were fantastic, service was incredible.

Don't listen to those who moan about Economy-it's the same on any airline really; if the service is really good, that more than offsets the lack of space; and anyway, I'd rather fly in Economy for the rest of my life, than not fly at all!

Enjoy the SIA experience...

Hej Lauda 777!

Welcome to Sydney!

My family flew Syd-sin-cph-sin-Syd in july last year...

Economy..They really liked it.especially my two younger brothers who instead of sleeping just kept on playing nintendo.

Service is suppose to be very good .according to them.

They flew on the SIA 744 tropical from Syd..You can hope you do that aswell.

you can post the dates of your arrival and I'll try to take a picture of your plane!
