I don't blame FL, they are trying to promote a brand new, never before seen on any airline, feature. Plus, they know that with the amount of people liking Elton John it's a great way to draw customers, with or without the radios

I think it's pretty neat, and the fact this will absoultely help spotters in finding the airplane. I don't know of any other airline that would give out ship numbers. Usually they say "Due to security, blah blah" AirTran has been pretty good in giving out ship numbers to me, and I am looking forward to yet another X-Fares trip next week to ATL, I hope it's on an XM equipped plane.
Travis, just how popular is X-Fares? I heard it attracts a good base of future AirTran travelers. I'd be interested to know how many X-Fares people boarded a plane last year.
