Need Help - Flight Tracking

Sat Feb 12, 2005 6:38 am

Okay, I don't 'follow' flights even though I've been an aviation fan and pilot for a long time. But I looked up today and saw something and now I want to know what exactly it was.

Flying over Daytona Beach at 4:10pm today, 2/11/05.

What appeared to be an Airbus A-320 at altitude, heading NW.
An MD-80 shadowing him, lower, also heading NW.
A 737 heading S along the coast, also at high altitude.
Something unidentified heading S, could only make out a fuselage, couldn't see any wings or engines... looked like a telephone pole damn near, and it was over taking the 737 traveling the same direction very quickly. I realize it may have been a business jet or fighter at a lower altitude and thus appearing to be much quicker.

What I want help with is this... is there a way, without subscribing, to see a tracker and just see what was overhead at that time? I don't know a flight # or airport it was going to/from.

Or maybe one of you guys that are good with that kind of stuff can look it up and tell me? If so, much appreciated.

Thanks for any and all help,

50 views and no one has can help?

Pretty please?

Or at least reply whether or not its possible to get a look at what the traffic was at that time with some kind of tracker without subscribing to a service. I've been wondering that a long time and would like to know whether or not that's possible.

Thanks again!

Flight tracking threads have been done do death to be honest. If you do a search (assuming the search function is in a good mood today..) for flight trackers/tracking it should bring up quite a number of threads.

For your needs I would suggest (note: not recommend) Airnav's Live Flight Tracker. I used v3 for a while and it should do the job you require. I'm not a great fan of it myself but others speak highly of it. It will cost you however.

Cheers,
