DL 767-400 F Class

Tue Feb 15, 2005 12:42 am

I am booked to take my first 767-400 flight on DL first class. I noticed that they have PTV, but I am curious to know if they turn on the IFE on a 1:30 flight FLL-ATL or ATL-FLL?
Also, do they serve meals on those short flights? (9am departure/8pm return)

Meal? No - not on a flight that short.

IFE? I'm not certain but I would think that they would have the IFE on.

The overall 764 F is not great, but it's better than coach. Enjoy!

There won't be a meal, but there will be the IFE. I took that flight to ATL from JAX during SuperBowl week and they showed sitcoms. The 764 FC is typical FC configuration, since they were bought for domestic flights. I hope you got a better aircraft than I did. I don't remember the aircraft, but in seat 3E, some idiot that sat there beforehand crushed the tv remote without putting it in the cradle correctly, so I couldnt turn the overhead light off.
I don't have a microwave, but I do have a clock that occasionally cooks shit.

Eesh I hope you're not paying for F. That flight is prolly only an hour long if that.

Xkorpyoh: When is your trip? I've got 7F from LAX - ATL in mid March for the same reason you did. I trust seatguru won't let us down!

7E/F are definately the best seats in First. Twice the legroom (maybe a little less) than the other seats. I did ATL-LAX-ATL in 7F both ways and was quite pleased. The only thing I didnt like was that these seats did not have footrests under the seats. The footrests extended from the bottom of the seat in front of you and b/c of the amount of space, I could not reach the footrest. Was a little uncomfortable when the chair was in full recline. Enjoy the trip!

LAX-ATL on March 14 for me.

Bustraveler: Thanks for the report! I can handle legroom over footrest!

Safe travels!
