Buying A Ticket On LH With US Miles?

Wed Feb 16, 2005 9:51 am

I have a chance to buy a r/t LH ticket to europe for 80K miles on the new LH J class. Now IF (im nat saying they will but... IF) US were to go down under would the ticket still be accepted by LH.

PS: Is 80K miles to little for an r/t trip from JFK-Europe in J class?

If the ticket is issued and confirmed, even if US goes under, it will be honored.

You always have to book the ticket at the airline of your FFP, so if US isn't anymore you can't book a ticket on or via them, not with money, nor with miles.

Patrick

Edit: If you book it now and US isn't anymore after your purchase, LH has to accept this ticket as mentioned in the reply above.
