CL440 What Is It?

Thu Feb 17, 2005 12:55 pm

What is the differance between the CRJ-200 (CL600-2B19) and the CRJ-200 (CL440)?

The CRJ-440 is the same as the CRJ-200, but it only has 44 seats, this was done for Northwest Airlines because the scope clause they had in their pilots contract only allowed 44-seat planes to be operated, I believe that has since been ratified and allows Northwest to operate larger regional jets.
