I doubt that DuPage is likely to get service. It is really far from downtown Chicago, and those suburbs around there can't provide enough O/D with ORD
so close. MDW
is already the closer airport to down town and with the new terminal is less crowded and good for quick in and out compared to the ORD
megalopolis. Dupage is 30 miles west of Chicago, which is just too far away.
The only thing that small airports like that offer are quick in and out service, but this is only useful if they are close to the city. There are other airports in the country, BFI
most notable, that are close to the city center, but don't have any commercial service. I doubt that Dupage is going to get anything unless ORD
become heavily slot restricted. Now if Meigs Field opened up with a 7,000 ft runway again without strict regulations, then yes it would see service, but the city of Chicago has destroyed that possibility.

If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!
