Small New Zealand Business Wins Airbus Deal

Fri Feb 18, 2005 6:33 am

A small Wellington business has won a $20 million deal with Airbus to supply 20 Aerobridges for the new A380 at SYD and MEL. Each A380 capable gate will have 3 bridges. The Wellington business is also in talks with AKL about A380 capable bridges.

P.S. Ever wondered where over half the worlds aerobridges come from? Wellington, New Zealand

Fully agree, considering that the small business with only 25 employees has provided aerobridges to over half the world's airports.
