Monarch AGP-MAN

Sat Feb 19, 2005 1:54 am

I'm flying with Monarch from Malaga to MAN and back in 2 weeks time. Does anybody know what type of aircraft operate this route? I imagine an A320, but any chance of a 757 or widebody?

Would imagine it depends if your flying a charter (MON) or Scheudueld (ZB). If its schedueld I think it will be one of their shiney new A321s, if its charter not sure.

It's mostly A321s but have been A320s on the service; occasionally Saturday service has been done on an A300.

Should be a 321 if it's scheduled, anything else is possible for charter

of course they have 757's. I cant believe you would consider yourself an aviation enthusiast and not realise Monarch have 757'S.

Monarch's 757s were some of the first off the line, delivered to them brand new. They had some early teething troubles (escape slides in particular) but since then have been superb performers.

They send the A320s A321s 757s and the A330s down to AGP. My guess is that you are on a A320.

MON572G/573G on 12/2 was G-MONR, with that aircraft then going to Goa afterwards.

Hi,

I might be flying with Monarch to AGP in September on ZB752 on an Airtours holiday. The flight was MON 3752 last year and was operated by an A330-200. This year it is a scheduled flight so will it still be an A330 or will it be an A32X?

James, are you taking the mickey? Don't knock NCL, its a good little airport, even if there is no viewing gallery.

thanks Alcregular! big shame about the lack of viewing balcony although they do now have a small lounge that i've just discovered on the ground floor where you can see the planes!

Chance of an A330 on the route you lot are discussing.........0

My dad flies MAN-AGP with ZB several times a year, and has been on A300, A320, A321 and the B757. Though on most occasions it is the A32x series.
