AC To SCL And EZE

Fri Feb 25, 2005 12:31 am

I noted recently that AC changed its schedule to SCL and EZE. AC has been flying YYZ-SCL-EZE 4 x week and YYZ-EZE nonstop 3 x week.

Apparently as of March/05 AC changed its operations and will operate YYZ-SCL-EZE 6 x week, therefore, increasing flights to SCL and dropping the nonstop flights to EZE.

AC would continue to offer onward connection from GRU to EZE and SCL with Star partner RG.

Could anyone confirm/correct this information?

Rgs,

Nobody can really figure out the reason for the change, presume it's that the bulk of the loads ex Canada based on advance bookings are destined for SCL. The flights go back to the regular rotation on March 31st, and seasonally drop off to 4 weekly for the summer. Seems inconsistent and more trouble than it's worth.

Indeed, the schedule looks very confusing!

Anyone knows the reason for all this mess? Maybe shortage of aircraft?

Any specific reason for AC introducing this change in schedule?
