Connecting On CO @ EWR

Fri Feb 25, 2005 4:56 am

Hey ~

I'm looking at a flight: YYZ-EWR-TPA, that would give me 46 minutes to make a connection in the late morning (~11:00 a.m.) - am I pushing my luck, or is this doable (assuming everything's on schedule and the weather cooperates...)

I'd arrive as a domestic passenger, having cleared US customs here in YYZ, so I'm guessing it would be a question of walking down a few gates within CO's wing at EWR. I guess CO wouldn't suggest the connection if they didn't think one could realistically do it - I'm just curious to hear from people who are familiar with CO at EWR.

Have heard lots of good things about CO here & would like to try it.
Thanks in advance.

This should be doable, since the Express terminal is centrally located between the other two piers.

If the weather goes astray or even the slightest delay then you might have some problems.

But yeah, all problems aside, its just enough time. Terminal C couldnt be easier to navigate.

Thanks JBLU -

I should've mentioned: the YYZ_EWR isn't COex - I believe it's mainline on a 738 - so I'll stay within Terminal C (?)

Thanks

You shouldn't have a problem at all! It seems that the YYZ-EWR flight usually docks around C85 and the EWR-TPA flight is usually around C81. If may all change but both are in terminal C and they appear to be pretty close. And also, they have moveable walkways wich are a blessing.
Good Luck,
Steve

EWR-YYZ-EWR is flown with a combo of mainline and Express flights. Forty Five minutes in EWR should be fine. Just don't take your time going between flights. Terminal C is very easy to get around.

45 mins is plenty of time, if ur inbound flight is slightly delayed most likely they will have an electric cart waiting for paxs with connecting flights
