I'm Booked On A Mystery Flight . . .

Sat Feb 26, 2005 2:34 am

I booked reward travel thru CO. On the itinerary it has me going to ATH with AF anf returning with KL. The KL return from AMS-JFK is nowhere to be found. They supply no information on the itinereay so I went looking at KLM.com and NWA.com for the equipment. I couldn't find anything about a KL flight 1581, from AMS-JFK leaving at 8pm and arriving 12:20 am +1.
If anybody can find it someplace please let me know, I would like to find out the equipment info.(I hope it's a 777)
Thanks,
SR

KL1581 is the AMS-ATH flight. Usually a 738, sometimes a 739.

SO either you booked it wrong of you told us the wrong flt # because so far your trip is AF to ATH and then AMS-ATH again on KL.

I figured out the problem. The agent booked me a ATH-AMS-ATH return. I can't believe it. I have to call and straighten things out. He told me the only flight they have from AMS-JFK was an 8pm flight that got in a little after midnight. It didn't sound right but I went with it because I haven't been able to find anything else.
Thanks for the help,
Steven

I would show you my itinerary now but it has many errors. Th computer picked-up the error and the warning said "You are leaving JFK and Returning ATH". The guys from CO booked be ATH-AMS-ATH on the return so there is no and there was never a flight from AMS-JFK leaving at 8pm and arriving 12:20 am +1. The computer on CO.com deleted my AMS-ATH flight and now I have to wait for an alliance member to release more seats return, across the atlantic.

well i knew these 3 by heart Big grin

but basicly most of the booking-engines give info on any particular piece of equipment.

If you download the KLM timetable that you have to install on your PC you will also be able to see the equip.
