Pimp My Plane!

Sun Feb 27, 2005 2:44 am

For those people that don't know what this means, this is a term that applies to cars, where you modify them by putting rims, nitrous, spoilers etc, as to make it look and perform better, but I want to know how you guys would "modify" your plane. Any plane.

I'd want to see one of our schools C172SP with spinner wheels, tinted windows, neon lights in the belly, flames painted from the cowling and extending back, a flowmaster exhaust, a spinner that spins even with the engine off and of course screens for the rear passengers and Recaro seats!!!  Big thumbs up

If anyone else here has seen "Soul Plane," that is what my plane would be like. Spinners, hydraulics to make the plane bounce down the taxiway, a club, bathroom attendants, and !!!FINE ASS!!! flight attendants like Sophia Vergara. An incredible first class section throughout the plane though, nothing like "Low Class" where you have to pay for the overhead lockers. Hella funny movie.

On the Soul Plane movie site, there is a "Pimp Our Plane" section to select rims, paint schemes etc.

Those pop up movie/navigation screens would be nice on a cessna.

What I like on the Soul Plane site is the "Loading %" animated airplane graphic which appears and changes as different displays load. Wish this could be incorporated into Internet Explorer to show % loaded for all web pages!

BTW - my "pimped plane" has the following scheme:

Rims = 5
Body color = 5
Tail color = 5
Tail graphics = 1

[Body color = 2 looks like SWA on drugs...]

Pimp my plane...hilarious! I know one thing it won't have for damn sure...a spoiler the size of a windmill - the ones that look like they can get those '87 Corolla's jumping puddles. If any of you have any exposure whatsoever to your local ghetto, you'll know exactly what i'm talking about!!
Some cats think i'm 6 feet, I'm so deep; I can get d-d-down like a pessimist - Common

You're kidding, right? That movie represented two hours of my life that I can never get back.
