Does anyone know either what is causing such delays in the delivery of AR's remaining B744s, or for that matter, which aircraft they will be?
C-GMWW was due for delivery late last year, but to date hasn't left Marana and is rumoured in Argentina that it will not be taken up: How does this make sense when the two B744s already in service are of exactly the same model (-475s)? Won't operating more than one type of -400 create more problems for AR than it would solve?
And finally, can anyone confirm if AR is leasing their B747-200 LV-OPA to Air Plus Comet in April? This would be the 4th such aircraft for the Spanish carrier, leaving AR's Jumbo fleet looking somewhat depleted.
Hopefully Air Plus know what they are doing, but I'm growing suspicious of the number of aircraft leaving AR's fleet to fly in Europe, in exchange for...?
