Every time there is a 5 star video at fl350 do we have to be remineded at this forum?

Anybody know the runway lenght in Bournemouth by any chance?

He appears to start rotation at the 1500 ft marker, and is airborne by the 1000 ft marker, from the looks of it.

Those planes would take every inch of runway before lifting off low over Roaches Run and they would turn hard right away from the monument and area around the Capitol and White House.

The perception of distance from that angle and through a zoom lens is deceiving. It IS an awesome clip, but I'd estimate the aircraft lifted off with about 1,000ft to spare.

It is a very good video, but I think people need to realize that the pilots would have performed the appropriate calculations in terms of weight, atmospheric conditions and runway length, so they knew very well that the runway was long enough for them to take off, even if not by much.
