West Beirut

Fri Mar 04, 2005 8:06 pm

it's not the old days, and it's not the movie  Smile

Recently I heard that the West Pier at Beirut is being solely used by MEA and codesharing flights (i've departed with MEA from West Pier twice or 3 times maybe)... While the East Pier is being used by all other airlines...

If so, then why is Emirates using the West Pier/Gate 23 specifically? What about other airlines having codesharing flights with MEA? AF and Qatar? Are they using the West pier?

Airlines that are serviced by MEA's ground handler, MEAG (Middle East Airlines Ground) use the west pier.

However, some flights are serviced in the east pier when the west pier gets full.

You will sometimes see MEA planes on the east pier because of this.
