UA Fleet Question Help

What year did UA have the most active of the following:

747's? I'm guessing mid '90's

777's? I'm guessing late '90's

767's? I'm guessing mid to late 90's

DC10's? I'm guessing early to mid 90's?

When did they have the largest active wide-body fleet? My guess mid 90's?

How could I find this on my own?

DC10's early to mid 90's? I don't agree. I would say the 80's for the DC-10. It was in the early to mid 90's (93/94) that United started phasing out the DC-10 in favor of the 777.

747-400: I would say mid 90's to early 2000's
777: I would say late 90's to present (mid 2000's)
767: I would say early 90's to early 2000's

Yes, I would say United was in its best shape during the second half of the 90's with a large fleet of 747-400's, 767's and 777's.

Now, when the narrowbodies are/were most active:

757: mid 90's to present (mid 2000's)
A319/320: mid 90's to present (mid 2000's)
737-300/500: early 90's to early 2000's

Past aircraft:
727: 70's, 80's and early 90's
DC-8: 60's, 70's and 80's
737-200: 70's, 80's and early 90's
Classic 747: 80's and early 90's
Caravelle: 60's
I don't mention the L-1011 because United only inherited a small fleet of those from Pan Am and those didn't stay long.

Possible future aircraft: 787 mid 2010's

Actually, UA's 777 fleet is smaller now than it was pre-9/11

For the 767s, you have to look to the time where 763 orders ended but the 762s were still plying heavy.
