Bringing Weapons Onto Planes (part 2)

Some time ago I posted a thread on the possibility of people bringing weapons onto planes - in pieces, and then reassembling them for use of hijacking the plane.

Well, I was reading an article earlier today and it brought back thoughts of my post last year;
The link below is about a couple of guys who illegally entered Turkey and boarded a plane witha gun in their baggage;

I guess that this was another step for the terrorists to test and try out if indeed this is any easier and if the security systems are lax enough to allow them to succeed...
