Test Your Airport Identifying Skills!

Fri Mar 11, 2005 5:17 am

I got inspired by another thread. The purpose is to test your airport identifying skills. I will start off with the first airport, by the time somebody gets the right answer, someone else can post another airport.

1To post a picture, go to http://terraserver.microsoft.com/default.aspx
2 Find the airport you want
3 Copy and paste the url so you can display it as an image using the UBB image code

So here it is:

http://terraserver.microsoft.com/ima...spx?T=4&S=13&Z=12&X=319&Y=2224&W=2

I guess you can include anything related to aviation if you want.

In that case what is this? (i've been there, it is very fun, but not a boneyard)
http://terraserver.microsoft.com/ima...x?T=4&S=10&Z=12&X=2562&Y=17779&W=2

Have fun!

Might it be Tucson? The thing up top gave it away...

That looks like the Pima Air Museum.

The top of the map page also says it's located near Tucson, AZ.... a giveaway.

Well, that's the city's name. But the point is identifying the airport (official name), not the city.

And yes that is the incredible Pima Air museum.
