What date? It's in the schedule as an A320. In the past they've used a 757, too. However, this time of year with the popularity of flying South to warm up, there are many equipment substitutions. In fact, United used a 757 mainline the other day on IAD
, which is usually just Ted.
Fight 847 is the feeder flight to United's late evening (9:00 hour) departures to South America from IAD
. Often more than half of the flight is transferring to EZE
. Nice that United has the variety of aircraft to meet demand....though I can't figure out why they don't use a 777 or 747 on their South America flights for this time of year (December to April). Fights are over sold and sometimes weight restricted....leaving valuable cargo behind.
