There Are Many Rumors?

Wed Apr 05, 2000 11:28 am

Hi Leo DF,

How are you? How's is school doing? Let me tell you that it looks good for me at this point. I had a speech in class today and I did very well. I think that my luck is finally changing for the best. I will be entering the university next year and I plan to major in Aviation administration and latin american studies. I am very happy and excited about the situation. Wish me luck!

Enough about my personal life!

I read some rumors yesterday, as maybe you did too. About some possible investors in the new Taesa. I just couldn't believe what my eyes were reading.

Continental, Southwest, and British Airways are all secret and possible investors.

NO WAY BA! (British Airways) They want to go and conquer the world with all their franchises they have all around the universe. I don't want to see the Mustard and ketchup colored Southwest in my beautiful mexican skies anytime soon. And Continental can focus on Copa in panama and leave Mexico alone. They already have a huge presence there but I don't want to see any Continental colored aircraft with a Mexican flag.

It's going to get tough. Pretty soon AeroMexico and Mexicana will be sold off and I'm guessing that they already have potential buyers. Guess who!

Anyway, All you people post your postings and guess what the situation is going to be with this ordeal.

Really don't know who will buy TAESA, having such big aircraft and personnel problems, I think TAESA should start again as a commuter airline using turboprop aircraft like Aeromar. Just Wondering!
