How does the economy class compare between the 346 & 343. For example due they both have the same PTV systems are seats similar ?

Thank you for your help,

I photographed CX888 and its contrail flying directly over my house in the middle of that leg a couple days ago, at FL370. Sweeeet.

I flew CX888 and CX889 recently (only the JFK-YVR portions). We had an A343 in both directions (to YVR on a Thursday, and to JFK on a Monday), but, as indicated above, the A346 is on that route several times a week. The economy class on the A343 was not so good. The food service was decent, although the flight attendants only came through with one drink service on each flight. On the flight back to JFK, when I walked back to the galley for a refill on my water, they made it seem like it was an inconvenience for me to interrupt their conversation and ask for some water. The PTV system played all movies simultaneously, thus making it very difficult to watch another movie from the beginning after you finished your first movie. In other words, it was not "on demand." The seats were not the most comfortable seats either. There was also a huge gap between the seat and the window, making it difficult to prop a pillow against the wall. All that being said, the fare between YVR and JFK was unbeatable...it was quite a bit less than $300 r/t, including taxes, etc.

I've seen the 343, 346, and 744 operate this route. However I haven't seen a CX 744 operate the HKG-YVR-JFK route since they got the 346s.
