BA 319s To LGW

Fri Mar 25, 2005 10:18 pm

Looks like the 0625 and 1035 BA departures from MAN to LGW are to be operated by 319s from the start of the summer timetable this weekend. Does anyone know if dedicated 319s are being transferred to LGW from LHR or are these newly delivered aircraft?

Not newly delivered aircraft as the last A32S family aircraft BA had delivered were the six A321s last Autumn, with one more to come.

A319 ops from Gatwick were supposed to start last October, but that kinda fell through as it seems they are keeping their B737's longer than first expected.

On top of the one A321 to come, they also have 3 A320's and 3 A319's still on order that are supposed to be delivered between November 2007 and May 2008.
