im not sure, but i beleive basair.com.au had a course for indian pilots. I looked at Oz for my CPL training, but ive opted for florida. I think if you train in India, its most likely for Indian CAA (or whatever) licenses. Not sure if thats any help in Tanzania, but google it, you might get lucky.

There waas a recent article in the medial which higlighted the fact that many (not all) Indian schools use obsolete equipment and are in addition very expensive to boot.One of the reasons mentioned was that AVGAS which the small training aircraft use is not refined in India and have to be imported with heavy taxes. In addition a few yeas back the government removed the subsidies for state government owned flying schools (not sure whether this was applicabkle to overseas students anyway), so cost went up again.
